Global Warming My Ass!

We had the mother of all ice storms last week, a little reminder that the earth hasn't completely heated up yet. Nature can be beautiful and ugly at the same time.

Here are just a few of the 2100 pictures that people have sent our New Hampshire television station in the last week. They are a rather graphic display of why I say "Global Warming My Ass!" New Hampshire had 430,000 electric customers with no power. A week later and we STILL have 54,000 customers without it. These numbers are customers--not people! Figure at least an average of two people per house and we have a population of about 1.5 million. You do the math! To see the rest of the pictures follow this link, or go to wmur.com.

Another tidbit from the e-mail circuit

To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - (pet nose height).

Dear CATS & DOGS: The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish. Nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help, because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king- sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our front door:

To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:

1. They live here. You don't .
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'niture.
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, they are an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

1. Eat less.
2. Don't ask for money all the time.
3. Are easier to train.
4. Normally come when called.
5. Never ask to drive the car.
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends.
7. Don't smoke or drink.
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions.
9. Don't want to wear your clothes.
10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and...
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children!

An American job?

I found this little gem floating around in cyberspace a couple of years ago. I save some pretty weird stuff sometimes.

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN)
for 6 a.m. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with
his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG).

He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN
SINGAPORE)
and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA).

After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA)
he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO)
to see how much he could spend today.

After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio
(MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY)
and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless
day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his
sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine
(MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA),

and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job
in.....AMERICA.....

This really isn't exaggerated all that much. It's a sad state of affairs that will take a real concerted effort by ALL Americans to correct. The way things are going, we won't even have enough jobs left in the U.S. for our illegal alien workers. Hey! That's it! We don't have to fix that problem. Time will fix it for us! Maybe I should run for President!! Now, what to do about that Iraq situation.

I first posted this on Friday, March 28, 2008. I know that a few of you long-time followers have seen it, but most have not. I don't mean to imply that all the blame goes to consumers, but a good portion of it does. It might be to late to save many things, but surely we can at least try to save the things we still do make here. Buy American when you can and be part of the solution, instead of part of the problem!

Looking at the map in the picture above, does anyone else notice who's missing from the list of countries with the highest standard of living? In case you can't read the small print, here are the top ten countries: Iceland, Norway, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Netherlands, and France. Where are we??? I could have sworn that we used to be at the top, guess I was dreaming.

Monument Engraver Needed

I received an E-mail a week or two ago that I thought I should share with all of my blogging friends. It is just one more example of how we are losing an important battle. We just can't afford to let the next generation grow up without God as part of everyday life. I just can't see how keeping Him out of ANY public settings deprives Atheists. All they have to do is---don't look! Our country was born with Christian underpinnings, and it should stay that way. "One nation, under God" should stay in our pledge, "In God we trust" should stay on our currency, and these four words should be engraved and STAY where President Roosevelt had them!

SHALL WE HIRE A MONUMENT ENGRAVER TO GO TO ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY AND ADD THE MISSING
WORDS ?

A MESSAGE FROM AN APPALLED
OBSERVER:

Today I went to visit the new World War II Memorial in Washington, DC. I got an unexpected history lesson. Because I'm a baby boomer, I was one of the youngest in the crowd. Most were the age of my parents, Veterans of 'the greatest war,' with their families. It was a beautiful day, and people were smiling and happy to be there. Hundreds of us milled around the memorial, reading the inspiring words of Eisenhower and Truman that are engraved there.

On the Pacific side of the memorial, a group of us gathered to read the words President Roosevelt used to announce the attack on Pearl Harbor:

Yesterday, December 7, 1941-- a date which will live in infamy--the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked.

One elderly woman read the words aloud:

'With confidence in our armed forces, with the abounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph.'

But as she read, she was suddenly turned angry. 'Wait a minute,' she said, 'they left out the end of the quote.. They left out the most important part. Roosevelt ended the message with 'so help us God.'

Her husband said, 'You are probably right. We're not supposed to say things like that now.'

'I know I'm right,' she insisted. 'I remember the speech.' The two looked dismayed, shook their heads sadly and walked away.

Listening to their conversation, I thought to myself, Well, it has been over 50 years she's probably forgotten.'

But she had not forgotten. She was right.

I went home and pulled out the book my book club is reading --- 'Flags of Our Fathers' by James Bradley. It's all about the battle at Iwo Jima .
I haven't gotten too far in the book. It's tough to read because it's a graphic description of the WWII battles in the Pacific.

But right there it was on page 58. Roosevelt's speech to the nation ends in 'so help us God.'

The people who edited out that part of the speech when they engraved it on the memorial could have fooled me. I was born after the war.! But they couldn't fool the people who were there. Roosevelt's words are engraved on their hearts.

Now I ask: 'WHO GAVE THEM THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE WORDS OF HISTORY?????????'

Send this around to your friends. People need to know before everyone forgets. People today are trying to change the history of America by leaving God out of it, but the truth is, God has been a part of this nation, since the beginning. He still wants to be...and He always will be!

If you agree, pass this on and God Bless YOU!

If not, May God Forgive You!

A short trip through Google Land, and I found the entire speech, which I share with you now, so that you may see for yourselves that this E-mail was accurate! Follow this link to this speech at American Rhetoric.com. It is also a good source if you need to find other speeches.

Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives:

Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched an attack against Malaya.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.

And this morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.

I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.

With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God.

I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, December 7th, 1941, a state of war has existed between the United States and the Japanese empire.

Iraq SOFA clears first hurdle

BAGHDAD – Iraq's Cabinet overwhelmingly approved a security pact with the United States on Sunday, ending prolonged negotiations to allow American forces to remain for three more years in the country they first occupied in 2003.

The deal detailing the conditions of the U.S. presence still needs parliamentary approval, and lawmakers could vote as soon as Nov. 24. For Iraqis, the breakthrough was bittersweet because they won concessions from the Americans but must accept the presence of U.S. troops until 2012.

"It's the best possible, available option," said government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh. He was referring to the conflict between Iraq's desire for full sovereignty and control over security and its need for American support and cooperation to achieve that goal.

Al-Dabbagh described the pact — intended to supplant the U.N. mandate expiring Dec. 31 — as an "agreement on the withdrawal of U.S. troops," and Washington welcomed the Cabinet's approval.

It looks like we will have a Status of Forces Agreement with Iraq soon. There are a couple of more steps, but there should be no major problem now. We may have just averted a big problem. As of December 31st, we would have had no legal right to operate within Iraq and our troops would have been left in a very precarious position. This is the agreement that NObama had tried to kill until after Jan. 20th so that HE could take credit for it. I still think he should have been prosecuted for that! He could spend 3 years in jail for it, instead of spending 4 years as POTUS. Where in Hell is the justice??

The rest of the article can be found by following this link. Americans and Iraqis can breath a little easier now, thanks to a lot of hard work on both sides, mainly ours.

Just what is patriotism?

Just what is patriotism anyway? Well, I can show you one small example right here. Of course there are a million other examples, but the leftards would never understand. The new P.C. saying "I support our troops, but I don't support the war" does not count. That is not patriotism, that is bullshit. Please follow this link to see for yourself what some folks in Bangor, Maine do for the troops coming and going from their Airport. I have heard that the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area does the same thing. I know that countless other communities across our great country do the same thing, or at least I fervently hope so. Here is a peek at the article:

She and the other 40 or so members of the Maine Troop Greeters have made it their mission to welcome every incoming and outbound flight of soldiers and Marines who use Bangor International Airport as a refueling stop.

No matter what time of day or night, there will always be applause, handshakes and hugs to make the troops feel appreciated.

When a handshake won't do, some military men and women will reach out and just hug the person who came by to welcome them home.

Meeting the troops also tugs at the emotions of the greeters. "It's a good feeling," Guptill says. "Some days it's a tear-jerker."

After about an hour and a half on the ground, it's time for an outbound flight to take off and head to a war zone.

The greeters line up again to wish the soldiers well as they head up the ramp to the plane, thanking them for their service.

Guptill says if the war ended tomorrow it would be fine with them, but adds, "We'll do this until this thing ends."

I wish I lived closer, because you can bet your ass that I'd be right there with these OUTSTANDING CITIZENS, putting their money where their mouth is, so to speak. When the first gulf war was winding down, we in my hometown greeted every single vet coming home at the local VFW. There was absolutely no way we Vietnam and Korean vets were going to let happen to our younger brothers what happened to us. A few years ago, our local National Guard armory was tapped to send over more than 100 of our local citizens. You would be PROUD of the homecoming they got. If and when we get more local people coming home or going to the war zones, WE WILL be there for them! You can take that to the bank!

Oh, I almost forgot. We have a local hero that just went over to Iraq. He wrote back to the local newspaper that many in his unit didn't receive any mail, would our citizens like to "adopt" them and send letters? His entire unit now gets all the mail they can handle. As a vet, I can tell you that this is one of the most appreciated things you can do. Write to our brave troops and just let them know that someone back here actually gives a shit about them and what they do!! It will certainly make their day brighter, AND it will make your day better too! Talk about WIN/WIN! You don't know where to send a letter? Drop by your local American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars and ask, or use google to find a hundred units dying to get letters and "care packages", if you REALLY want to make someones day!!!

If I did this right, you should be able to scroll down and find a YouTube clip of my favorite John Michael Montgomery song. It is by far the best rendition you will find anywhere. I don't care how Macho you may think you are. If you really listen to the words and watch the video, you WILL get watery eyes. Do not come back and say I didn't warn you!

John Michael Montgomery - Letters From Home

Got your handkerchief or tissue ready? If not, go get it, you WILL need it. Listen to the words, watch the video, and then WRITE some letters!

God Bless the USA

Happy Veterans Day to everyone, especially my fellow vets, and most particularly to our current troops both in the war zones and anywhere else they may be stationed. Lest we forget, freedom has a price, a high price. The greatest country in the world is truely blessed to have people ready willing and able to stand tall when necessary to keep our freedom alive. And so it is on this day, the 11th day of the 11th month, that we honor those brave men and women. Be sure to hoist your flags today and let the libs know we still care, even if they don't!

Please scroll down to my previous post about the Disabled American Veterans and do what you can for my comrades who were less fortunate than I. They could use the help and they sure earned it!

South Park - About Last Night ...- Season 12 Episode 12 p1

UPDATE: This video is no longer working, but you may view it in it's entirety here.

South park gives us a glimpse of just what the NObama cultists are really like. Coming from Randy and the other adults of
South Park, it is hilariously funny. In real life, it was abhorrent. The show also gives us a possible reason that McCain lost, ridiculous, but..... I had found this earlier today and YouTube pulled it, but I found this other version. Let's hope it stays up long enough for everyone to enjoy it. I guess Viacom complained, so if they see this one, the same thing will probably happen. If you like this one and want to see the rest, there is a part 2 and part 3. Double click this episode to get to the YOUTUBE page and look to the right under "more from: Wikkidawesomeness."

Eve Of Destruction Video

One of my most favorite songs from back in the mid-sixties, I hope this isn't what we voted for Tuesday, but it is definitely a REAL possibility! Four years will seem like an eternity to me. We are risking an awful lot just so we can experience a black Presidency and make history. History can kiss my ass!

Disabled American Veterans

Tuesday, November 11, 2008, is Veterans Day. What better day to remember all of our veterans, past and present, living and dead. What better day to especially remember our disabled veterans. I decided to write this post to see if maybe I could do more than I usually do on this special day, and that is to increase the impact of my normal contribution by getting people to join me in being as generous as you can.

I have special reasons to donate as much as I can several times a year, but especially at this time of the year. For those who have been following my blog for any length of time, it is not a secret that I am a very PROUD veteran of the Vietnam war. The reason I am proud of it has nothing to do with what I did, but rather because of gulf war vets from the current 2 wars, and the 1991 war and what they have done. Before 1991, I never even spoke of my own service. These newer vets made it possible for us Vietnam vets to again hold our heads high. I feel I owe them a debt of gratitude that goes even beyond what all Americans should feel they owe.

The Disabled American Veterans depends on our donations to make the lives of our disabled heroes better. It is the only reason for their existence. I donate as much as I can to this most worthy organization for two main reasons. First because of the good they do, and second, because, there "but for the grace of God, go I."

If you are a vet, if you are related to a vet, or if you know a vet, wouldn't you want to know that there is an organization out there that is helping them. You could have been disabled, or your related vet could have been disabled, or your friend could have been disabled. If you don't know any disabled vets, consider yourself lucky, but I'm still asking you to consider sending in your donation. ALL AMERICANS owe our disabled vets a lot more than we can ever hope to repay. At the very least, make your down payment on that bill!

This request is not coming from the Disabled American Veterans, nor has it been authorized by them, but I am sure they won't mind. I'd like to suggest you consider 1 days wages. That is probably less than 1/2 % of your yearly pay depending on how many days you work. A small sacrifice in the scheme of things. A much smaller sacrifice than they gave.

Snail mail can be sent to Disabled American Veterans---P.O. Box 14301---Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301, with checks made out to D.A.V., or you can donate on-line at www.dav.org/pp

From this humble and thankful veteran, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for whatever you can do to help. Happy Veterans Day!

Joe

Today's Riddle

Hillary, Biden and Obama were on a donkey, at the edge of a cliff.
The donkey got spooked and jumped off the cliff.

Who was saved?

AMERICA
I stole this somewhere, damned if I can remember where. Thanks to whomever it was.

Dictators Mock Obama's Ignorance

Buyers Remorse

"There are particular moments in public affairs, when the people stimulated by some irregular passion, or some illicit advantage, or misled by the artful misrepresentations of interested men, may call for measures which they themselves will afterwards be the most ready to lament and condemn."

James Madison

Let's pick that statement apart and discover what it means in todays terms. There are particular moments in public affairs(Presidential election of 2008),when the people stimulated by some irregular passion (a burning desire for positive change), or some illicit advantage(lop-sided media coverage), or misled by the artful misrepresentations of interested men (lied to by NObama and his campaign staff), may call for measures (voting for NObama)which they themselves will afterwards be the most ready to lament and condemn(buyers remorse).

I never realized that President Madison was a fortune teller. He sure did predict the scenario we are currently living under. If you buy something and then later realize that you screwed up, you can always sell it and chalk up the loss as an expensive experience. A minor setback, usually with only temporary consequences. Electing the wrong person for President, especially this year, would have drastic and long term consequences for every single American and the world. There is no room for buyers remorse in this decision. Do not buy the sales pitch just because it was so eloquently delivered. Let your friends know how important this one is. You all have an abundance of information to share---share it! I plan to fight to the LAST moment. I will be spending Tuesday out in front of my ward's polling station doing the best I can to get a few more votes.

My questions for the messiah

I don't remember where I first posted this, it was in the comment section of someone's blog. I should have posted it here earlier, but, better late than never. I left in the cusses because------well--------It's how I really feel. Sorry if it offends anyone.

NOBAMA has chewed my f---ing ear off with shit he wanted me to hear, but he has said NOTHING that answers the questions I have for him. I don't want lies about what he will do when he is president when his flimsy record proves he feels just the opposite. I don't want his promises, I want him to answer tough questions, AND I WANT THE PRESS TO ASK THOSE TOUGH QUESTIONS!!!!! We do it every four years. Why is this asshole so special? Why doesn't the MSM want to get to the truth?

1. Why don't you show your real birth certificate to squash the nasty rumors about you not being eligible for the presidency?
2. Why aren't you more forthcoming about your early childhood years attending muslim schools?
3. What were you doing in Pakistan with muslim friends in the early 80's?
4. How did you or your poor mother and grandparents manage to pay for all that fancy, high-cost schooling?
5. Where in the world did you get the cash to buy that house on your meager salary?
6. Why do you continue to shy away from your associations with that laundry list of scum you have been proved to chum with? After all, it's getting awful crowded under that bus.
7. Why do you run away from the term "redistribution of wealth"? You know that is the very core of your whole belief system!

And for the grand finale:

8. Just what are you claiming for experience these days that you think gives you the right to seek the highest office in the land??? You and your campaign slam Sarah Palin for not having experience to be VP, and yet you have even less experience and you want to be KING SHIT!! I DON"T THINK SO!

There are a LOT more questions we Americans would like truthful answers to, but these will do for a start.

Foster Friess on Barack Obama: Rhetoric vs. Record

Hat tip goes to A Western Heart. Let's watch Obama tells us, in his own words, why he should not be our next President. It will be the best 9 1/2 minutes you have ever invested. After you have enjoyed watching him hang himself, please send this to all of your e-mail friends with a request for them to send it along. This is undoubtedly the best "silver bullet" I have found anywhere, and I've been looking for quite some time now. Let's use this "silver bullet" to kill the werewolfs chances of ever fulfilling his dream.

NOBAMA LIES

Obama Lie No. 1 - I will tax just the rich.

There is no such thing as a tax on just the rich. Taxes on wealthy people affect everyone.

Remember, Obama defines anyone making over $90,000 a year as "rich."

Joe the plumber discovered that Obama thinks Joe's rich too. Under Obama, he won't be able to hire new employees and grow his business.

Joe's not alone. Obama says he'll strip away the FICA cap at $90,000 for every worker. That means every dollar you earn over that amount, you'll pay 7 percent!

Obama Lie No. 2 - I want to give a tax cut
to the middle class.

Baloney!

Obama says he will let the Bush tax cuts expire. That's an automatic 5 percent (maximum) tax increase on almost all taxpayers.

Plus middle class folks pay capital gains taxes. Obama has said he wants to almost double them from a low of 15 percent to almost 30 percent.

He wants to hike the dividend tax, and he also has promised taxes on gas and energy.

Obama also wants to dramatically increase the estate tax, which had almost disappeared. There goes your idea of sharing your wealth with your kids in the future.

Obama Lie No. 3 - I want to make America
more secure.

Another outright lie.

In an age when crazies like Iran's Ahmadinejad are building ballistic missiles and promise to "destroy" the United States and Israel, Obama has promised to gut the missile defense program created by President Reagan.

"I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems," Obama said.

He has promised to cut "tens of billions" of dollars from the Defense Department. In an effort to make us more "secure," Obama plans to disarm us.

In the age of 9/11 can we afford such a radical Leftist in the White House?

No, we can't.

A few more reasons to vote for NO bama:

He is so radical he even backed driver's licenses for illegal aliens - even though such a move would help future terrorists move freely in the United States.
But Obama not only touted such a plan running for president, he pushed for giving illegals driver's licenses as a state senator in Illinois.

He is also the most pro-abortion candidate in the history of the country. In 2001, as a state legislator in Illinois, he opposed a bill to protect live-born children - children actually born alive! He was the only Illinois senator to speak out against the bill.

He opposes gun rights. He has a long history of trying to deny ordinary citizens access to guns.

He originally backed Washington D.C.'s total ban on private handguns - a ban that was overturned. The NRA rated him an "F" on gun positions and says he is one of the most dangerous anti-gun politicians in the nation.

Never forget that Obama is a Harvard-educated elitist. To him, we Americans are simply "bitter" and he has mocked us saying "[they] cling to their guns and their religion."

This information came from an e-mail I received from "Human Events." If only all Americans could hear the truth about that empty suit!

Election 2K H8

Do you know any black voters, or any undecided voters? Get them to watch this clip and pay attention to every word. This guy REALLY has his head on right! He's American first and race is a very distant second.

a Random Rant

Another great man that makes great sense. I stole this from MK down under in Australia, thanks MK. I wonder how many blacks realize that Martin Luther King was a Republican too? You'd think that might make a difference to them. We Republicans may only have 10% or so of the black vote, but at least it's the best 10%.

Bill of No Rights

WARNING: This clip contains extremely foul language, especially the "F" word.

Gutta B. Mee is back with his rant on illegal aliens and the fact that they have no rights! This guy is at least as good as Joe the Plumber, however he is much more explicit. I agree with his thinking, especially point number 2. We need a whole bunch of this type person in politics. Maybe then things could REALLY change. Feel free to pass this along to your address book. Bear in mind that some people won't want to hear the language. Please use discretion.

Bird Feeder

WARNING: Do not click on the above clip if you are easily offended by foul language. This guy draws a really funny analogy between feeding birds and one of this countries biggest problems. It's really just a matter of "common" sense, which isn't very common after all. Brand new to YouTube, I give you---Gutta B. Mee!

November is BOYCOTT CNN month

For their absolutely disgustingly lopsided coverage of this years Presidential election, I hereby proclaim November to be "BOYCOTT CNN month." If we all send this news to our address books and ask for it to be forwarded, it has plenty of time (6 days) to cover the country and half the globe. If we could kill 20% of their viewership for a month, maybe they would SMARTEN UP! I wonder if they could manipulate the Neilsen ratings as badly as they are doing it to the polls right now? Can you just imagine how much damage that would do to their bottom line when their advertisers see how much power we have? I am well aware that CNN is not the only offender, but I also know that people will watch news somewhere, so I decided to just pick on the biggest culprit. OK, so who is with me? Take the pledge, "I hereby promise to not watch CNN during the month of November, 2008." I am sick and tired of their terribly biased reporting, if you can even call it reporting, and their political hacks should all be fired! Other liberal biased channels should be warned that they might be next if they don't clean up their act! Reporters should REPORT the news, not create it!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For your viewing enjoyment I have added some video clips to the upper right portion of the page. I think I'll scour the net for more little goodies so I'll be able to swap them around once in a while.

NOBAMA on gun controls

Many of the so-called "swing states" have large numbers of rural gun toting voters who may or may not know NOBAMA's record on gun control. I think it is vitally important that we get them the information they need to make the right choice. Please follow this link to the NRA's site. Check out the information there and get familiar with it so you can speak to people in an informed way. You will be able to change many minds on this one issue. Be sure to send out the information or the link to your address book also.

Alfred E. Smith memorial dinner

I was sitting at my favorite bar having a couple White Russians this past weekend, talking politics with whomever would listen, and watching TV with the sound turned off because people were listening to the jukebox. I noticed McCain and NOBAMA were at some kind of a dinner function, almost looking more like friends then adversaries. There was a lot of laughter and applause from the audience. I just thought, oh well, I had to many to drink, better let the wife drive home.

Fast forward to a couple of hours ago. I was making my rounds of the blogosphere and when I got to Law and Order Teacher's blog, I finally saw what was going on at that dinner. It was the annual Alfred E. Smith memorial dinner. John McCain and NOBAMA were roasting each other. They each had 15 minutes to cut each other up. I some how managed to figure out how to get YouTube playing on my blog, something I had been planning to do for ages. It's FINALLY done. For the best half hour of comedy you've seen in a long time, you have only to click on this clip. McCain goes first, so if you must cut it short, oh well!

I may be biased, but, I would have to say that McCain cleaned NOBAMA's clock but good! I'm thinking that maybe his 2% rise in the polls the last 2 days is because of this. A big hat tip to L&OTeacher for finding this!

And the winner is...............

Joe The Plumber! That's right ladies and gentlemen, the undisputed winner of last night's debate is Joe the Plumber. For a guy that is planning to start a new business, that free publicity will be worth a small fortune. He seems like a rather likable guy, level-headed, intelligent, and sceptical of politicians, especially NOBAMA. I especially like the way he is looking ahead to the possibilities. He may not make $250,000 next year, but what about a few years down the road? What happens when NOBAMA decides that $100,000 needs higher taxes? Katie Couric interviews Joe and surprisingly treats him very well, no real hard questions like with Sarah Palin. Hmmm.

Katie asked Joe what he thought of the debate. He said he wasn't swayed either way, though he seems to be leaning towards one of the candidates. Katie presses Joe to fess up on who he plans to vote for, and he answers that that is between him and the voting lever. What a sly devil. Just from his other answers, I know who it is. It's McCain/Palin! In a 90 minute debate last night, Joe Wurzelbacher's name was used 26 times! the word Iraq came up 6 times, and the economy, the most important issue of the year was echoed a mere 16 times. I'd say both contenders thought Joe was that important! After a rather short interview, Katie had to let Joe get back to his adoring fan club. It seems like he had three local news vans waiting out in front of his house. A REAL hometown hero.

You may view the interview and read the entire transcript from CBS News at this link. It really is a remarkable story, mainly because it was reported at all, seeings how it is good news for our side!

JOE THE PLUMBER SECRETLY ENDORSES MCCAIN/PALIN!

UPDATE:Joe the Plumber is quickly becoming more famous than American Idol! We have definitely not heard the last of him. NOBAMA will have to do damage control if he wants to prevent a big slide. Just Google "Joe the Plumber" to see how famous he has become OVERNIGHT!

No clearance for NOBAMA

I have worked in two nuclear plants in the last few years. In order to enter the plants and perform the work I needed to do, I had to have an "unescorted Access" security clearance. For those of you who never needed a security clearance, of any type, let me tell you, this is one hellacious nightmare of red tape and excruciating probing around into every facet of your entire life. I had to account for every single day of my life while I was not working. If I was laid off for a couple of days or a couple of months, what did I do? Where did I go? I had to give non-relative references which I knew they would call. What I didn't know is that they asked these references for MORE references, and then asked THAT GROUP for even MORE names. I had to take a psychological profile test, which, if I remember correctly, consisted of 500 questions. The entire process took a few weeks before I got there, AND two weeks after I got there!

The reason I decided to give out that personal information, is because I wanted my readers to understand that I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT when I say that THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that NOBAMA would EVER be able to get the clearance that I got. Nor would he be able to get a top secret clearance, at least not if he weren't a Senator, or, God forbid the President. Just look at the picture above to remind yourself who his best friends are. This is the man that has B.S.ed millions of sheeple into believing he is the messiah. I do have to hand it to him, he speaks well, if you call B.S.ing speaking.

Lou Dobbs on voter fraud

This article is a MUST READ! I think the October Surprise is here! For millions of Americans that watched Lou Dobbs tonight, there was a very startling piece of information. It seems that NOBAMA's campaign paid ACORN $800,000 to do some voter registration work for them. ACORN, of course, is that leftist corrupt organization that you have been hearing so much bad publicity about lately. It seems that every election cycle, they get worse and worse, and they get caught with their hands in the till more and more often. Why are they still in existence? Good question. I guess you'd have to ask NOBAMA that one. He has been their lawyer in the past. He was a "community organizer" for them also.

I'm going to insert a little bit of the transcript from tonights show, but I highly recommend you follow the link to read the whole thing. I swear, Lou Dobbs is starting to get the picture. He is getting closer and closer to being on our side every day! I think I've already said somewhere on this blog that I like the guy. I have ever since he took on illegal aliens.

Tonight, the left-wing activist group ACORN, charged with widespread election fraud. The Obama campaign denies that ACORN has any significant relationship with Senator Obama. But the Obama campaign, nonetheless, is paying ACORN for countrywide voter registration.

And rising concerns that illegal aliens may be allowed to vote and influence the outcome of this election.

ACORN who supports Barack Obama in this presidential campaign went out and tried to register as many new voters in Lake County as they possibly could. The deadline was October 6th. They came in with 5,000 new applications. And when the registrations office began going through them, they found a pattern -- every single one of them was fraudulent.

RUTHANN HOAGLAND (R), LAKE COUNTY ELECTIONS BOARD: 50 percent. We had close to 5,000 total from ACORN, and so far, we have identified about 2100.

GRIFFIN: Registered to a dead person, registered to a person who lives at a fast food shop?

HOAGLAND: Yes.

GRIFFIN: Or just all of them, amazingly, in the same hand?

HOAGLAND: Yes. Yes. All the signatures look exactly the same. Everything on the card filled out looks just the same.

GRIFFIN: Ruthann, fraud?

HOAGLAND: We have no idea what the motive behind it is. It's just overwhelming to us.

GRIFFIN: Lou, I took a look at these registration forms and, indeed, they're all in the same hand. You can tell they're all written by the same person. They showed us the death certificates of some of these people who are registered there.

The workers have been diligently trying to go through all these new ones. But finally, they had to just put them aside. 2,100 of these applications are fraudulent. The other 2900 have been placed to the side. They haven't even looked at them yet.

They want to take care of the actual good applications of real new voters who really want to vote in this election. But they're scared. They're scared they don't know what's out there and who or what is going to show up at the polls when voting actually begins in the ballot boxes.

DOBBS: Drew, the -- woman with whom you were speaking, a terrific public servant, I -- we have got wonderful people like her all over the country. She seemed very sweet, she would not commit to the fact that somebody writing in the same handwriting for thousands of times to register dead people would be committing fraud.

But listen, you've been looking into this story for days and days now. We're seeing it from Vegas to Ohio to Pennsylvania to Indiana, all over the country, and these investigations are opening up. How can there be any doubt about what's at work here?

GRIFFIN: You know, each individual county, Lou -- and that's what's happening there. And let me tell you, Lake County, they are so afraid of anybody calling them partisan, for every worker, every job in that elections office, one person is a Republican, one is a Democrat.

Both Republicans and Democrats are coming to me and saying, look, this is fraud. This is registration fraud. But each county has to look at it and usually what happens is, after the fact, after the election, the boards look at it, they file criminal charges, people are charged with these.

Well, new evidence tonight that the Obama campaign is substantially connected to ACORN, despite disavows from both ACORN and the Obama campaign. And new questions tonight as well about just how much money ACORN receives from the federal government.

TUCKER: And ACORN has been paid $800,000 by the Obama campaign to register voters. And there's another connection between ACORN and the Democratic presidential candidate Obama. Obama, along with the Department of Justice, represented the group in a lawsuit to force the state of Illinois to comply with voter registration law, Lou.

DOBBS: So, to -- again, to be clear, there is no question that the Obama campaign is paying ACORN...

TUCKER: That's correct. DOBBS: ... for voter registration? And that now that ACORN is being with fraudulent registration, voter fraud, in effect, across a number of states all across the country?

TUCKER: That is absolutely correct.

The Obama campaign Web site, by the way, fight the smears responded today by attacking Blackwell, saying, quote, "Blackwell's attacks against ACORN and community organizers constitute a vile Republican pattern of mockery and viciousness against this noble profession.

Community organizers are the very individuals Republicans should be celebrating for helping people help themselves rather than depending on the government."

DOBBS: Tonight's poll results: 77 percent of you are concerned that radical left wing activist groups are trying to manipulate the outcome of this presidential election.

Rabu, 08 Oktober 2008

Please vote in my poll (to your right) before you leave and tell others to drop by and vote also. Thank you.

I think I know what the results will be. For a guy always crying foul over racism, he's the only one that gained from it. I hope I'm not viewed racist because I posted this poll, I want to show that there really is racism involved in the Presidental elections this year. We saw it big time in the primaries, and I know we will see it in the general election also. What I want to point out is that it is not just white Americans involved. In fact, I think a lot of "PC" whites are participating in some REVERSE discrimination. I think NOBAMA ought to keep his piehole shut on that whole subject. Race card my ass!

The Audacity of Hope

For those of you who have the stomach for more, I present you with "The Audacity of Hope", NOBAMA's second book. For month's now people have been calling him an "empty suit", this is not really true. As it so happens, his suit is full of Audacity. If you don't believe me, read this, his second book. Again, I have scoured the internet universe to find a source from which you can deappreciate(I know, not a real word) his writing skills without putting a penny in his liberal pocket. The entire pdf version can be found here, for free.

My lawyers have instructed me to include the following disclaimer:

You read this book at your own peril. Readers of previous works by the same author have had to clean the floor after getting violently sick to their stomachs. If you are weak of heart, get the advice of your doctor before opening the cover. Have at least a six-pack of beer, or 4 good stiff drinks at the ready before attempting to get into this "book". People with a pre-existing medical condition, women who are pregnant, or may become pregnant are advised to consult your doctor and get a second and third opinion before even touching this book.

Dreams from my father

Here my friends for your reading enjoyment, I present you with a source from which you may acquire that most infamous of all books, "Dreams from my father." It is in pdf format, it is available for FREE, and it loaded quite well for me. Phone modems may take a little while, but it just might be worth the wait. I posted a little about this book a few months ago, and in one of the comments, I said I would NEVER allow one penny of my hard earned money to end up in NOBAMA's pocket. Well, I finally got the whole book without putting any money into that crooks pocket. It is actually a piss poorly written book, his arrogance drips off every page, but you all know that is not why I am interested in it. Please feel free to peruse through the thing and pick apart ANYTHING that might be detrimental to the chosen one's campaign and pass it around. I would very much appreciate any feedback on things any of you might uncover. Here is the link to "Dreams from my father."

Warning: DO NOT read this book close to bedtime. It will give you nightmares and I will not be responsible for your lack of sleep!

On the lighter side

I thought I'd take a break from serious political discussion for today. I need to rest my brain and lower my blood pressure. Maybe some of you are feeling the same way. This satire is political, but it pokes fun at ALL OF THEM. God knows with a 17% approval rating they deserve it! I have no clue who wrote it, I got it in an e-mail the other day. It may be satire, but it speaks volumes of truth.

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun In one hand, pulling a male buffalo with the other.

He says to the waiter:

'Want coffee.'

The waiter says, 'Sure, Chief. Coming right up.'

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.

The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp,

Turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,

Causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere

And then, he just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns.

He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling

Another male buffalo with the other.

He walks up to the counter and says to

The waiter,

'Want coffee.'

The waiter says 'Whoa, Tonto!

We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.

What the h--- was all that about, anyway?'

The Indian smiles and proudly says ..

'Training for position in Congress:

Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull,

Disappear for rest of day.

Leave mess for others to clean up!'

Palin versus Biden--Who won?

If you can believe the MSM political pundits, and we know we can't, then Biden won but Palin did better than expected. Even Republican strategist types have been calling it for Biden. I guess they watched a different debate that I did. Oh well, to each his own. One thing I can say though is that Gwenn Ifill did as I had predicted, she did well. If I hadn't already known that she had a book about to come out and hadn't known that she was strongly biased toward NOBAMA, I would not have guessed it by how she handled the debate. I was also impressed by the civility of all three participants of the affair.

I don't really give two shits what the MSM says or thinks about who won! It doesn't matter. We know who won but that doesn't matter either. What matters is just what the rest of the 70,000,000 viewers thought about the whole thing. I think that MOST of them, the undecided Americans from all across this great land of ours saw a remarkably lovable person in Sarah Palin that they would have no problem voting for. I think the McCain/Palin ticket just got revitalized. I think that polls in the coming days are going to prove that the MSM pundits are WRONG about who won. I think that 70,000,000 viewers are going to catch those same pundits in this lie. I think that McCain/Palin will win in November. I have always thought this.

Sarah Palin interview with Carl Cameron

Here is a portion of the transcript from Sarah Palin's interview with Carl Cameron of Fox News. It is in no way like her previous interviews where she was viciously attacked by liberal jerks that cater to the messiah's every whim. Maybe she should keep her interviews for journalists that still have civility and decency. After all, the news channels need her as much as she needs them. I watched the interview in real time, and it was great. This transcript doesn't really capture the best of the interview, but it at least will give you an idea of the improvement from previous encounters. You can access the entire interview here. The transcript writer missed a lot of words. Where I knew for sure, I put them in parenthesis. The ones with "inaudible" are original, not mine.

CAMERON: Governor Palin, thanks so much for joining us.

PALIN: Thank you.

CAMERON: Congratulations. You're not formally -- you've pulled off your first vice presidential debate. What do you think happened?

PALIN: Well, first it was a lot of fun. It was a great opportunity to get to speak directly to Americans. That's how I looked at it when I walked into there saying, you know, we're not going to be filtered.
There's not going to be the cutting and pasting and editing of any of our comments. Right on. Let me just talk to Americans......

CAMERON: Democrats put out 18 news releases last night and said that you committed 18 lies. The "L" word is pretty common this time around.

Anything you want to revise from last night? Anything that you said that you think on record (INAUDIBLE) you want to --

PALIN: Oh, I mispronounced General McKiernan, called him (General McClelland) and I apologize for that.

Other than that, nope.....

CAMERON: Folks said, wow, that was like Sarah barracuda out there last night. Because it was back and forth and you were taking on Joe Biden. Do you think you surprised him by the way in which you were prepared to sort of go after his record and Obama's?

What was the body language and the psychology between the two of you on that? Because he was sighing a lot. And some folks thought that you kind of exasperated him.

PALIN: Well, again, at least my sort of view was, it was pleasant.
And it was a lot of fun.

But, there just wasn't enough time either, 90 minutes in a debate sounds like that's going to be a heck of a lot of time to get a lot of words in and countering each other's records. And there wasn't enough time to go through everything that I wanted to go through.....

Because 35 years in the Senate, he has a record. He's got that voting record. I think it really shows Americans that a very, very left-leaning liberal ticket -- he is the third most liberal senator, as National Review will report. And Obama, as the most liberal senator.
That that ticket, a lot of the reflection of the voting record shows us why that they are considered the most liberal ticket, probably ever.....

CAMERON: This morning -- last night, when you were in the Spin Room and people came flowing in there. And one of the questions that a lot of folks said was, OK, where was the Governor Palin and Katie Couric interview that just debated and arguably defeated Joe Biden in a vice presidential debate.

There's (INAUDIBLE), I know you know. What happened? Go ahead --

PALIN: Well, OK. I'll tell you. Honestly. The Sarah Palin in those interviews is a little bit annoyed. Because it's like, no matter what you say, you're going to get clobbered. If you (choose) to answer a question, you're going to get clobbered on the answer. If you choose to try to pivot and go on to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about, you get clobbered for that, too.

But, in the Katie Couric interviews, I did feel that there were a lot of things that she was missing, in terms of an opportunity to ask what a V.P. candidate stands for. What the values are represented in our ticket.

I wanted to talk about Barack Obama increasing taxes, which would lead to (k)illing jobs. I wanted to talk about his proposal to increase government spending by another trillion dollars. (Statements) that he's made about the war that I think make my world -- disqualify someone from consideration as the next commander in chief. Some of the comments that he's made about Afghanistan, what we're doing there, supposedly, just air raiding villages and killing civilians. That's reckless and I want to talk about things like that.

So, I guess I have to apologize for being a bit annoyed. But, that's also an indication of being outside of that Washington elite, outside of the media elite, also. And just getting to talk to Americans without the filters and let them know what we stand for.

CAMERON: OK. So, at the risk of annoying you, when you are asked, what do you read? Which papers and magazines? You didn't answer it.
Or, you said, I have all kinds of resources.

PALIN: Right, right, right.

CAMERON: Well, what do you read?

PALIN: I read the same things that other people across the country read, including the "New York Times" and the "Wall Street Journal" and the "Economist" and some of these publications that we've recently even been interviewed through up there in Alaska.

Because, of everything that we're doing with oil and gas, a lot of the investment publications especially are interviewing us, asking us how are being so successful up there in contributing to our nation's step towards energy independence.

CAMERON: Sure.

PALIN: So, my response to her. I guess (I) was kind of (flippant).
But, I was sort of taken aback, like, the suggestion was, you're way up there in a far away place in Alaska. You know, that there are publications in the rest of the world that are read by many. And I was taken aback by that because I don't know, the suggestion that this was a little bit of perhaps we're not in tune with the rest of the world.....

CAMERON: Well, the idea's not to be dodging the questions. But, you've heard the question already from Katie, about Supreme Court decisions that you disagree with.

PALIN: Oh, yes.

CAMERON: But, as a conservative, there are some in the Republican Party who would expect a vice presidential nominee to understand judicial conservatives and to have something that they might object to.

PALIN: And that's fair. Right. And on that one, truly I shouldn't have been so (flipant) and (answered) that. Because that was an important question and I should have answered it.

And yes, I can cite a lot of cases that I absolutely disagree with the Supreme Court on.

CAMERON: Is there one particularly? Or a couple, or something that --

PALIN: A couple.

CAMERON: -- exemplifies or illustrates what your sort of judicial philosophy would be?

PALIN: Sure. A recent one, Kennedy versus Louisiana, where the Supreme Court will tell a state that they can't impose the death penalty, even on heinous (ph) crime of repeat child rapists. That a state, it's rights are taken away by the Supreme Court and we would not be able to decide for ourselves whether the death penalty in a case like that should be implemented or not.

That one -- I'm certainly not a supporter of that decision. The
(INAUDIBLE) case also, with imminent domain. That affects me, as a governor. It affected me as a mayor, also. Part that property rights are so precious in this nation and for the Supreme Court to have sided with government, instead of the people, the property owners on that.
That was frustrating.

And then another one personally affected me, also. The Exxon
(Valdez) oil spill. Deciding what the oil company, as they decimated Alaska's coastline and much of our fisheries and much of our coastal communities livelihoods -- the people who live there. And they sided with Exxon on the punishment, the punitive damage that was to be awarded. Exxon won on that one in a sense that --

CAMERON: Governor, people hear that answer and they're going to be mystified. They're going to say, wait a minute. That's the Sarah Palin that we saw when she first joined the ticket. That when you hit the campaign trail, that invigorated Republicans.

I mean, is this going to (INAUDIBLE) one of those situations where it's Palin versus the press? And it depends on who asks the questions?

PALIN: That would be the worst strategy ever that I could think of. And I have a journalism degree, so I know how you guys work, also.

I'll tell you, what I used to do is commit to not being so annoyed and impatient with mainstream media. And I will make that commitment because I do understand that that is how I speak to the American people in a position like this. I speak to you and through you and that way, that message is received by American people.

So, I apologize for the (INAUDIBLE) response that I gave through that interview on a couple of questions. I'm going to try harder. But, I would ask also then, that the media tries a little bit harder also.
And that this is a two-way street. That there's fairness. Just objectivity and fairness and truth. That's all Americans ask for.

CAMERON: Objectivity, fairness?

PALIN: And that is all Americans ask for. As we send our young men and women overseas in a war zone to fight for democracy and freedoms, including freedom of the press, you've really got to have a mutually beneficial relationship here. With fighting for the freedom of the press and then the press, though, not taking advantage of that and exploiting a situation that perhaps that they would want to capture and abuse the privilege.

We just want truth, we want fairness. We want that balance.....

Yesterday, just before the debate it was announced that the campaign was going to withdraw some of it's exercises in Michigan, essentially leave Michigan for Obama to win.

What's going on there?

PALIN: Well, that's not a surprise because the polls are showing we're not doing as well there, evidently, as we would like to. But, I
(INAUDIBLE) up this morning, also. I fired a quick e-mail and said, oh, come on. Do we have to call it there? Todd and I would happy to get to Michigan and walk through those plants where car manufacturers.

We'd be so happy to get to speak with the people there in Michigan, who are hurting because the economy is hurting. Whatever we can do and whatever Todd and I can do in realizing what their challenges in that state are, as we can relate to them and connect with them and promise them that we won't let them down in the administration. I want to get
back to Michigan and I want to try.

CAMERON: Thank you very much, Governor.

PALIN: Thank you.

Debating Sarah Palin

We all wonder how the Palin/Biden debate will go tomorrow. We all have our perceptions of her recent interviews. Many think the campaign managers are changing her too much, scripting her answers, and filling her head with millions of bytes to memorize. I think that has happened. I think she pretty much held her own, BUT, she could have, and should have, done better. There is a sense that now the campaign is trying to undue the damage they did. Good! She was a GREAT debater before she was tapped to run for V.P. and she is still a great debater now, if her hands get untied. For what I consider to be an impartial source, please follow this link to hear right from a guy who knows.

Andrew Halcro debated Sarah Palin at least a dozen times. If anyone on this earth knows her debate style, it is him. His article in the Christian Science Monitor reveals a Sarah Palin that has the ability to mop the floor with the seat of Biden's pants with him still in them, if you get my drift. If she has been untethered by her campaign handlers, I think she will easily beat Biden, even if Gwenn Ifill is lopsided and unfair as the moderator. I'm not so sure that will be the case. Her book may even sell BETTER if NOBAMA loses! The one thing I know for certain is that I will be watching this debate. If she accomplishes what I think she is capable of tomorrow, we could see a remarkable bounce in the polls, one which NOBAMA will not recoup from.

That last sentence reminds me, keep an eye on that AOL poll I posted the other day. It still shows McCain ahead of NOBAMA nationally at 60% versus 40%. This is based on over 400,000 votes. Here is the link again so you won't have to go looking for it. For those of you interested, this poll will include third party candidates starting Thursday. I hope this poll is closer to the truth than other polls which only survey 1000-2000 people. Of course, it can't be used by poor demoncraps with no computer, so many of NOBAMAS core base don't even know it exists. That might not be correct, they probably all bought one with loans the government made the banks give them(sarcasm).

Lou Dobbs on Liberal Media

I'm so glad I got to watch Lou Dobbs last night. I've always liked him and his show but seldom am around to watch it. If ever there was an Average American, other than me of course, it would have to be Lou Dobbs. I don't agree with everything he says, but he does mirror my thoughts on most subjects.

Last night he spent at least ten minutes bashing the liberal MSM over their treatment of Sarah Palin versus Joe Biden. I tried to find a YouTube clip but there is none yet. I found a small segment of the show concerning the bailout defeat at CNN. You may access that here. Maybe it will have a link to the liberal MSM portion later.

Now back to the topic I started with. It made my heart feel good the way he lambasted his colleagues over their treatment of Sarah Palin. He talked about her speech at the RNC, her interviews, and her run-ins with the press corp. When comparing her gaffes to Biden's he jabbed Biden badly. He said Joe had 5 times as many as Sarah.

I did find an older piece where Dobbs blasts the liberal media. It would be well worth your time to watch it. It can be found here. I just wish it was the one from yesterday because it is even better. If anyone finds a clip from last night, please let me know!

I know who I'm voting for--do you?

I sure do wish I could take credit for these most profound words of wisdom! I must say that I agree with every single word here! Please read the entire thing before you decide whether to have me committed or not.

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, I’M FINALLY VOTING DEMOCRAT!

1. I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

2. I’m voting Democrat because the party of “tolerance” accepts me completely, unless, of course, I disagree with them.

3. I’m voting Democrat because I don’t pay enough taxes now, I feel I should pay much more and the Democrat party will offer me that opportunity.

4. I’m voting Democrat because I feel guilty for sacrificing and working hard all my life and becoming a “wealthy” American; while thousands of others wake up late, sit around, watch tv, have multiple babies without being married, don’t bother educating themselves or actually working to support themselves. It would be so nice to help them by giving away a big chunk of my paycheck for all the social services our Democrat party provides!

5. I’m voting Democrat because I believe if you can make it into America you’re home free! Yippee! We’ll give you all kinds of goodies. A free place to live, free food to eat, a free education, free medical care, free spending money, and all kinds of rights and freedoms-and you can bring all your relatives and friends here too-just tell them you’re a friend of the Democrat and to break into America at night when no ones watching. Oh, and we’ll make you a citizen too! Welcome hombre’.

6. I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

7. I’m voting Democrat because I won’t have to do any research on anything; global warming, prices of oil, political candidates, old laws, new laws, etc., I just listen to what they say and believe it-because they’re all about “protecting the little guy” that’s me! right?

8. I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the terrorists will just stay in their own little hellhole and continue to torture, rape, murder, and bomb their own countrymen. They wouldn’t even think of coming to America, cause we’re tough, darn it. [oh wait, that already happened remember 9/11/01-nevermind, it won’t happen again with Democrats in charge]

9. I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

10. I'm voting Democrat because I believe the scientists and meteorologists [who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday] can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years because of all the global warming we’re perpetuating.

11. I'm voting Democrat because I believe business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

12. I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

13. I’m voting Democrat because I believe no one needs to be able to defend themselves with a firearm and the government should start rounding up all the guns owned by citizens. After all, the police will come to our rescue after we sit down and calmly negotiate with the gun toting bad dude who’s just broken into our homes. Criminals will follow the laws and surrender their guns too, right?

14. I'm voting Democrat because they stay out of my personal life and they don't tell me what I can, and cannot do with my body.

15. I’m voting Democrat because the baby growing inside me isn’t really a person so it has no rights to anything, especially no right to live… if I decide I don't want it.

16. I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

17. I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my dog.

Tell me, why would anyone ever vote Republican?

THIS LIST OF REASONS IS DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU LAUGH AT THOSE WHO ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO FALL FOR THE PERPETUAL GARBAGE TOSSED OUT BY THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. IT SHOULD PROVOKE THOUGHT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT SHOULD CLARIFY, PRECISELY WHY I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!!

I found this and a lot of other very thought-provoking comments at this site. I didn't take the time to read all 5,800+ comments, but many I did read were well worth the time spent! Another comment provided this link to a real funny(and sad at the same time) you-tube clip of NOBAMA when he lost the teleprompter. It is a must see if you haven't already!

Please don't take a lot of stock in the AOL poll that this link brings you too. There HAS to be something wrong here. It has John McCain winning in all 50 states mostly by very substantial margins. Maybe it will get fixed before your visit. I sure wish it was correct, but I know better.
