Veterans's Day

What did you do to observe Veterans Day today? Did you march in a parade? Did you participate in ceremonies at local monuments? Did you go watch the ceremonies or parade if there was one? Did you fly the American flag proudly? Did you, at the very least, take a moment at 11:00 this morning to think about the significance of today? Or maybe, like most Americans, did you not do a God Damned thing about it?

Tens of millions of Americans, maybe even 100's of millions, have served their country proudly over the last 2 and 1/2 centuries. Millions of them paid for your freedom with their lives. Many millions more came home in pieces, either physically or mentally. Could you not find a few minutes to show your respect, your appreciation, for their sacrifice? SHAME ON YOU if you couldn't!! Maybe you should find another home, because you are NOT a true American! You don't like being scolded for your pathetic apathy? Tough Shit!! You deserve it!

To all of you Veterans, currently serving patriotic Americans, and regular citizens who took a few minutes out of your busy lives to care, from the bottom of this Veteran's heart----

The Occupy Wall Street volunteer kitchen staff launched a “counter” revolution yesterday -- because they’re angry about working 18-hour days to provide food for “professional homeless” people and ex-cons masquerading as protesters.For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and sheep’s-milk-cheese salad.
They will also provide directions to local soup kitchens for the vagrants, criminals and other freeloaders who have been descending on Zuccotti Park in increasing numbers every day.
To show they mean business, the kitchen staff refused to serve any food for two hours yesterday in order to meet with organizers to air their grievances, sources said.
As the kitchen workers met with the “General Assembly’’ last night, about 300 demonstrators stormed from the park to Reade Street and Broadway, where they violently clashed with cops.
Officers made at least 10 arrests when rowdy demonstrators refused to get out of the street and stop blocking traffic. A dozen cops on scooters tried to force them back to the sidewalk.
There were no reported injuries.
The demonstrators said they were angry over the violence in Oakland.
After making their way to Union Square, many of the protesters returned to Zuccotti.
The Assembly announced the three-day menu crackdown announced earlier in the day -- insisting everybody would be fed something during that period.
Some protesters threatened that the high-end meals could be cut off completely if the vagrants and criminals don’t disperse.
Unhappiness with their unwelcome guests was apparent throughout the day.
“We need to limit the amount of food we’re putting out” to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer.
A security volunteer added that the cooks felt “overworked and underappreciated.”
Many of those being fed “are professional homeless people. They know what they’re doing,” said the guard at the food-storage area.
Today, a limited menu of sandwiches, chips and some hot food will be doled out -- so legitimate protesters will have a day to make arrangements for more upscale weekend meals.
Protesters got their first taste of the revolt within the revolt yesterday when the kitchen staff served only peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chips after their staff meeting.
Organizers took other steps to police the squatters, who they said were lured in from other parks with the promise of free meals.
A team of 10 security volunteers moved in to the trouble-prone southwest section of Zuccotti Park in a show of force to confront them.
“We’re not going to let some members of this community destroy the whole movement,” a volunteer said.
Some arguments broke out as the security team searched tents -- but no violence erupted.
Overall security at the park had deteriorated to the point where many frightened female protesters had abandoned the increasingly out-of-control occupation, security- team members said.
Rumors swirled that one homeless man had pulled a knife in a dispute the night before -- and that there had been yet another case of groping.
But protesters and a cop on duty told The Post that most of the crime goes unreported, because of a bizarre “stop snitching” rule.
“What’s happening in there is staying in there,” said the cop.

Folks, have you EVER heard of anything so foolish as this? Here these morons are protesting about the rich not sharing and paying their way, not "redistributing the wealth", and they turn around and do the EXACT same thing they are protesting about--to the most needy of the population. "Moderate Muslims"

I've been hearing the term "moderate Muslims" since about 9/12/2001 and I still don't know what that means, or if there really is such a thing. The Muslims that were dancing in the streets that day, celebrating the events of the day before, but had no physical part in doing it, are they "moderate Muslims?" Muslims that DEMAND Sharia law instead of OUR law--in OUR OWN COUNTRY--are they "moderate Muslims?" Muslims that go to mosque and listen to the radical rants of America-hating Imams, much like Nobama listened to the not-so Reverend Wright for 20 years, are they "moderate Muslims?" Muslim women who DEMAND that they be entitled to hide their faces on their driving licences, Muslim taxi drivers that refuse to allow dogs in their cabs, Muslim store and restaurant workers that absolutely refuse to come within 1000 ft of pork products, but DEMAND to be hired by these establishments, are these more examples of "moderate Muslims?"

I suppose that we are to believe that the mosque being built at the World Trade Center is being paid for, supported, and promoted only by "moderate Muslims?" That mosque isn't an assault on us, it is not meant to be "salt in the wounds", oh no, it is meant to "heal" the divisions between the faiths. It is a community center for everybody to use. It is a "gift" to all New Yorkers. Anyone believing that truck full of shit, please call me. I have a beautiful bridge to sell you.

OK, so now, if there are any REAL "moderate Muslims" out there, how do they go about proving to us skeptics that they exist? FIRST, and this point is absolutely non-negotiable, you MUST DENOUNCE the portions of your Koran and any other rules you live by that have anything to do with killing non-Muslims. How anyone can call Islam a religion is beyond my comprehension. No legitimate religion calls for murdering innocents just because they believe in a different religion. Pull those pages out and BURN them. Have the balls to promote changing the archaic crap that is holding you in the 13th and 14th centuries.

If you plan on living in the United States of America, you MUST abide by OUR laws, not by that crap you call sharia. Again, this point is non-negotiable! You might as well face it, we believe that women are equal to men. They deserve to be treated like humans, and you WILL treat them like humans here. No stoning and no "honor killings" will be tolerated. Those burkas HAVE to go! Women who might actually want to wear them can wear them inside the mosques or their homes, maybe on their porch, but NOT while driving, and NOT in public places. This is a public safety issue. People robbing banks wear a mask, not law-abiding citizens.

If your religious beliefs won't allow you to fulfill ALL of the duties of a job, don't apply for that job--pretty damned simple!! If you don't want to touch pork, stay away from the butcher shop! If you're going to drive a taxi, plan on picking up anyone who flags you down for a ride, and that includes their pets! Oh ya, and good luck landing a job that will allow you to schedule in 5 prayer calls a day. Get over it! If you think you absolutely have to have a prayer blanket and a foot bath, you better plan on carrying them with you because I do NOT pay taxes just to cater to your religious requirements. We can't put up Christmas displays on publicly owned land anymore, so you can BE SURE that there will be no footbaths on public land either!

Learn and USE the English language!! I will assume you are talking about me or planning a terrorist act if I hear you talking anything else. Speaking OUR language is the first step in assimilating into OUR country. If this is not in your plans, go back to whatever shit-hole third world country you came from!!!!!

September 11th, the 10th Anniversary

I first published this post 3 years ago on the seventh anniversary of that horrendous day and every word is still just as true today as it was then, so I decided to re-post it. Hey, call me lazy, but I can't come up with any better words than I did back then.

As we remember September 11, 2001, we should take the time to reflect on just what happened that day. Four United States aircraft crashed. Two buildings were completely destroyed and several others were damaged in New York. One building was extensively damaged in Washington. A field in Pennslyvania claimed the forth plane. Over three thousand innocent civilians died. Countless heros emerged. Americans everywhere cried.

It's seven (ten) years later and most people seem to have completely forgotten that horrific day. Pearl Harbor brings back more vivid memories, and that was over 60 years ago! What in Hell happened America? Where did all the anger, disgust, and outrage go? I'm still MAD AS HELL! Don't forget. Don't let go of your anger. Remember the feelings you had that day and don't let go of them!

What REALLY happened that day? Radical Islamic terrorists attacked us ON OUR OWN SOIL! This was not their first attack on us by any means, and it won't be the last. We have managed to contain the fighting away from our own soil, for now. We must let our military and our secret services do their jobs. If being rougher than some people like on prisoners gets information that saves just one American life, then I say "go for it!" If racial profiling nabs just one terrorist before he blows up another plane or bus or whatever, then I say "go for it!" If wire tapping our telephone calls catches just one terrorist plot to kill Americans, then I say "GO FOR IT!"

Americans, in fact, the world had better get used to "the war on terror." Anyone who thinks that when we're done in Iraq and Afghanistan, that the world will be free of terror---THINK AGAIN! They are just the beginning. I hope that my children or at least my grandchildren will see the end of terrorist reigns, but I know that I will not. How long have we been fighting cancer? That's what terrorism is, just one more form of cancer.

May the innocent victims that were brutally killed that day be resting in Heaven while the people that carried out, planned, or in any way had a part in these murderous, despicable acts, be still and forever more BURNING in Hell! May the passing of 10 years have eased the grief of those left behind. May God bless them and watch over them, and may He bless the U.S.A.

Drug Testing

How many of you recognize this container? For those that don't, it is a "bottle" that is used to piss in for a drug test. Millions of Americans, myself included, have gone through this process to prove our abstinence from drug use. In my case, I have had to undergo this dehumanizing experience close to 100 times. As a construction worker who went from job to job and employer to employer for years, it was usually a mandatory part of applying for a job. Many jobs also did random testing as well as another mandatory test if any accident or injury occurred, no matter how small. Any one on or near that particular crew would be brought right down for a test. I always figured it was a necessary evil that I could bear to get a good paying job, and besides, it helped keep me and my coworkers safer by ensuring that we weren't working on dangerous jobs next to someone who was incapacitated by drugs.



Why am I telling this story? Let me get right to the point. If I had to undergo this treatment to earn a decent living, why in the world should I quietly sit back and let the government dole out my hard earned cash, IE taxes, to drug addicts and drunks without even making them go through the same thing. I am going to start a campaign in my state, New Hampshire, to correct this situation, and I would encourage you the reader to do the same in your state. Anyone that gets any kind of government assistance that is paid for with tax dollars should have mandatory drug testing to get on, and stay on the program. This is NOT stepping on their constitutional rights! To not do so IS stepping on mine! I am sick and tired of supporting some derelicts drinking and drug habits and I am DONE being quiet about it!

I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart-I know that nothing's free. I do not like their smug replies, when I complain about all their lies. I do not like this kind of hope, I do not like it, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!!!!

Rebirth of the Average American

I wasn't planning to ever write a blog again, but with all the bullshit going on lately, I feel compelled to do so. I know that anything I may write will never make a bit of difference in the grand scheme of things, but maybe it will reduce my frustration. Damn this is a lot harder than I remember it being. I've been sitting here for close to an hour, trying to come up with the words, but they just won't pop into my head.

I'm thinking of writing to Standard and Poors to thank them for the wake-up call they gave us the other day. Now if we can just get the frigging clowns in D.C. to realize that the downgrade was just that, a wake-up call. There's another one coming in 6 months if they don't smarten the f### up! Both parties are making me SICK with all their finger-pointing, blaming, and mostly for their thick-headedness. Neither side really has figured out yet that they are BOTH to blame for it! This country probably hasn't deserved a AAA rating for the past 10 or 20 years anyway, but certainly not now, not with the way they've been acting. S&P is just as concerned about the complete lack of any ability on our politicians parts to get anything passed these days as they are about the paltry cuts they ended up with. What a bunch of bullshit that package was! At least one of my Senators was smart enough to vote NO on that heap of garbage. The other bleeding heart liberal bitch did not surprise me by voting yes.

The cuts were MINISCULE compared to what they should have been. Social Security and Medicare have got to be dealt with---NOW--not someday. Tax system overhaul needs to start--NOW--not someday. They want to reduce spending? They want to increase revenues?? How about letting the private sector create some fucking jobs???? Every job created takes a family off the government dole and puts them on the taxpaying roles. WIN--WIN!!!!

Here are a few of the fastest ways I can think of to create private sector jobs:

1. Why is the U.S. government buying shit from other countries if Americans make the same shit?? Even if the American made shit costs a bit more, the savings and added taxpayers more than make up for it.

2. Buy American! What's wrong with our government promoting that idea? Let Americans know how many jobs are created when we buy American. I imagine that the Congressional Budget Office could figure out how many jobs would come from, let's say, $30 billion of extra business. That is only $100 per person. Don't tell me that you can't hardly find anything American anymore. That is just plain BULL!!

3. Start JAILING employers who hire illegal aliens!! Don't even think about telling me that they only take jobs Americans don't want, or I might have to KICK YOUR F###### ASS!!! When I had to stay in motels and be gone all week to get a decent job--and then found out that 14 illegals were caught building a Walmart 5 miles from my house, I really wanted to shoot someone! What happened to the contractor that they were working for?? Not a God Damned thing!!

Number 3 alone could conceivably reduce unemployment to 5% or less. Make it so hard to get a job if you are illegal that they will go home. This would also have a HUGE HUGE HUGE impact on spending!! Why are they getting free schooling, free healthcare, free housing, and what ever else they get free anyway??
