Iraqis views on Iraqi Elections

An Iraqi citizen whose blog I read faithfully has had his work published in the New York Times, along with two other Iraqis. These three articles are their personal insights into the Provencial elections in Iraq last Saturday. I strongly recommend anyone looking for the truth, not just MSM's opinionated rubbish, to check out these fine works. Here is just a short sample of Dr. Mohammed's post that was not part of the article.

I went back from the polling center with my wife to our friends' house, and there we found some other friends of us and we took this photo that speaks almost everything….a group of real Iraqis; Sunnis, Shiites and a Kurd who all are united in friendship and in purple fingers, what a nice day it was, we had lots of fun and some useful political conversations.

The primary results till now shows the winning of Maliki at the first place then Dr.Ayad Alwai in the second place…If this will be the final results, then I'll be satisfied, the party I think is the best among the available candidates will take the second place; that's good for me.
And Maliki in my opinion is bad but he is much better than Dawa party with their Hakeem, and better than Sadriasts and Dr.Jaffari.
Well, I hope the candidates that people have elected and placed their faith in will not let us down.

Please take the time to read his entire post at "Last of Iraqis" and then follow this link for the full article, with all three op.eds at the N.Y.Times. You won't be disappointed!

These two pictures are both from Dr. Mohammed's blog. Five fingers dipped in blue. Two are Sunni, two are Shiite, and the last is Kurd. Five blue fingers. Five happy people. Five good friends. Who would have thought it. MSM, you have it all wrong. This kind of story DOES sell as well, or better, than the lies and half-truths you feed us on a daily basis. Try it sometime and see for yourself. Try the FRONT page next time!!
